Solar Decathlon

“Senator Bernie Sanders meets with students from Middlebury College who are part of the school’s Solar Decathlon team, at an international competition sponsored by the Department of Energy to see which university team can build the best and most cost-effective solar-powered home. The Middlebury team’s entry is modeled on a classic New England farm house, and features enough solar energy to meet all of its needs. The home will return to Middlebury after the competition and will be featured as student housing and provide educational value for students interested in sustainability.”
