Not too long ago, a $15 minimum wage seemed “radical” and “unrealistic.” But people all over this country, including right here in Vermont, are standing up and saying that it is not a radical idea to say a full-time job should lift you out of poverty, not keep you in it. Five states and the District of Columbia have already passed a $15 minimum wage, and I hope Vermont soon joins them.
