BURLINGTON, Nov. 9 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will make several visits in Vermont on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. On Wednesday, he will speak at a Northern Vermont University press conference about a federal grant that will expand nursing education in the Northeast Kingdom. Sanders will also join Rep. Peter Welch at the St. Johnsbury School to discuss child nutrition provisions in the “Build Back Better Act.” On Thursday, Sanders will honor and commemorate our veterans by attending the St. Albans Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony. On Friday, he will speak at the 10th anniversary celebration for the Support and Services at Home (SASH) program in South Burlington.
