| WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) flew to the Middle East today on the first leg of a fact-finding trip to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The senator is traveling as part of a congressional delegation that is scheduled to meet with foreign leaders in both countries and to confer with senior U.S. military officials. The delegation returns to Washington on Tuesday. |
