BURLINGTON, Vt., Sept. 19  – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) issued the
following statement today on the death of John Curran of The Associated Press:

“John Curran made Vermont part of the AP mission ‘to bring fast, unbiased news from every corner of the world.’ I appreciated his coverage of veterans issues that are important to many Vermonters and to John, a proud Army veteran. He will be missed.”
