Second Annual Youth Chess Day
An opportunity for Vermont students to learn how to play chess and compete in a recreational tournament. The “Learn-To-Play” session is for students who are new to chess, while the tournament is for experienced players. Students with all levels of experience are encouraged to attend.
What: Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Second Annual Youth Chess Day
When: Saturday, April 20, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Learn-To-Play Session (Grades 1-8)
12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch (free for all participants)
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Recreational Tournament
